Mountain Mama

Vivi got to see where her Mama is from this month when we took a trip to West Virginia.  It was also the first time she had been on a plane.  She did great!  It was a whirlwind trip but we got to see several family members.  Vivi got to meet some of her Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and my best friend Stacy. She also got to meet her Great Pops and Great Grambi!  We flew into Columbus, OH and Mom and Casey picked us up.  That evening we stayed in a cabin before driving to West Virginia the next morning.  We had a cookout at Dad's house for Memorial Day and went to Mom's house for the Vandalia festival.  We had a wonderful time!

Three Months & Growing

Where has the time gone?  Vivi continues to grow rapidly and is getting very strong.  She now tips the scales at 12lbs 15.8oz and is off the growth chart at 24.5 inches long.  We have had a busy month with a few more road trips (Pagosa Springs, CO & Charleston, WV).  The weather is great when the wind isn't blowing and we are spending as much time as possible outside. We met Daddy for lunch at the park this month and Vivi also went to her first birthday party for her friend James.  She is such a happy girl!

The Hot Springs Are For Me

Vivi got her first swimming experience this weekend when we took a trip to Pagosa Springs, CO.  We stayed at a hotel that had several hot springs pools at various temperatures.  The largest pool was also the coolest but still felt like bath water.  I wonder what she'll think of a normal pool temperature when she feels it for the first time! I foresee many spa days with my little lady in the future!
