Painting with Auntie Casey

We have enjoyed Auntie Casey's visit so much and no one has had more fun with her than Vivi!  I honestly don't know what we would have done without her help.  We have been so busy that we haven't had the opportunity to take many pictures during her stay but we did manage to get some photos of today's painting adventures in the garage.  Vivi had a blast!  Especially when she discovered that she could paint herself!  Even Jack managed to get in on the fun by supervising from Daddy's lap.

First Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Easter!  Vivi went on her first Easter egg hunt today with several kids from the Mom's Club.  She had a great time.  To our surprise, she knew exactly what to do when she found an egg and quickly filled her basket.  After filling her basket, she then wanted some of the other kids baskets which she obviously thought were much cooler than her own.  She especially liked her friend Hutson's dinosaur basket.  Here are a few pictures from the hunt as well as a few family photos.  As you are sure to notice, I am now about the size I was when I delivered Vivian and have 3 more months to go!  The Doctor is predicting that Jack will be around 9.5lbs!!

First Aussie Vacation

We took Vivi on her first Aussie vacation!!  She did great on the flights and surprised us by sleeping thru the night the third night after we arrived in Perth.  Unfortunately, it took quite a bit longer to adjust coming home but she is finally back on her old schedule.  We had a wonderful time and enjoyed seeing family and friends that we have missed so much.  We were thankful to get to join in on the 70th birthday party for Uncle Bob and 60th  birthday party for Aunt Judi.  We also enjoyed staying with John and Cath for several nights and seeing our friends in Perth.  Vivi had a great time with Nan & Cookie and loved going to the beach, the zoo, playing in her pool and taking walks around the yard.  She also had a wonderful time discovering all of the new toys she had to play with.  It was fun to take her to King's Park so that she could see where Mummy & Daddy got married.  Although we were able to spend good quality time with everyone, we were sad to leave.  But, we look forward to our next trip in about 18 months when we will have both Vivi and Jack!  Thank you to Nan & Cookie for making our trip so enjoyable!

Vivi Turns One!

Time has passed so quickly.  It's hard to believe that our baby girl is 1!  Vivi had a wonderful birthday week.  We had a family celebration on her actual birthday and she got to open all of her presents.  The following weekend, we had a small Minnie Mouse themed birthday party for her.  Her friends Cole and Carston came with their parents as well as Dave & Ju-Ju, her New Mexico Grandparents.

Vivi had a great time being the center of attention!  She loved playing with Cole & Carston and chasing them around the house.   She really enjoyed the red velvet cupcake Daddy made for her and ate the entire thing!  She was so excited after her party that she stayed up an hour past her bedtime.

Thank you to everyone for making her 1st birthday so special with your phone calls, emails and gifts.

Thank you for my car Johnson Family!
