My First Halloween

Vivi had a wonderful first Halloween.  Our friend Marco visited from Australia and he and Mike enjoyed carving their first pumpkins and baking pumpkin seeds.  Vivi had fun watching Daddy make her Cookier Monster pumpkin.  The highlight of the holiday was watching Vivi as we took her through the ConocoPhillips Halloween Party.  She was very busy checking out the other children and the adults that had dressed in costume.  She wore her duck costume to the party but dressed as Cookie Monster for Halloween Night - a tribute to her Grandad in Australia!

First Steps With The Walker

Vivi has officially taken her first steps with the help of her walker.  She was so proud of herself as were we!  Now all she wants to do is walk around the living room.  Just two days after this video was taken, she is already so much faster!  Slow down little girl : )

New Play Area

Vivi has a new, colorful play area.  Now that she is so mobile, it's nice to have a play area for her that is large and safe.  She enjoys walking around the edges and really likes when Mummy & Daddy get inside to play.

Couch Surfing & Standing Tall

Vivi is now pulling up onto everything!   She "surfs" the full length of the couch taking sideways steps to get a toy and loves playing with her activity tables.  She is starting to get brave and hold on to things with only one hand and enjoys "walking" by taking Mummy & Daddy's hands.  She has also learned how to get down, preferring a half-split.  I think our world is about to change!

Beach Baby

Vivi went on her first beach trip this week.   We met Pops & Nana at their beach house on Fripp Island, South Carolina and had a great time!!  Some of Vivi's favorite things about the trip were riding on the golf cart while holding onto Pops arm, feeding the deer, playing on the screened in porch, feeling the sand on her toes, laughing with Nana and getting lots and lots of love.  We also celebrated Mike's birthday.  Daddy got to play golf and Mummy enjoyed relaxing.  We can't wait to go back!
