June Bug

Our little booger (as her Daddy affectionately calls her) is now almost 5 months old!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from June:

Baby Steps

Now that Vivi can roll over and likes to stand up in her jumper, we thought we would get her a walker.  She really likes it although sometimes she would prefer to play with the toys on the tray than actually "walk" and the first few times, she got a little confused thinking that she could jump.  Here are a few videos of Vivi in her walker and her jumper

Road Warriors

Our little family is turning into a travelling circus!  I say circus because of all the stuff we take with us but we are loving our road trips.  This weekend we went to Ouray, CO and stopped for lunch in Silverton, CO on the way there. Vivi was great as usual.  The trip was made extra special by the fact that it was Mike's first Father's Day! The drive was amazing and there was still snow on the mountain tops.  We enjoyed the hot springs pool, walking around the town and our dinners out.  We also drove to Telluride, CO one day where they were having a bluegrass festival.  On the way home we stopped for lunch in Hesperus, NM and had a great Father's Day meal.  Vivi got Daddy a digital photo frame filled with pictures of her for his office.

On The Move....

sort of!  Vivi started rolling over today (4 weeks, 3 days old).  I placed her in the living room on a blanket for a minute while I put some clothes away in her room.  When I came back, she was on her stomach smiling.  I couldn't believe I missed it!  I called Mike in tears that I had missed the first time she rolled over.  I quickly grabbed the camcorder and camera and thankfully she did it again and again.  I've included a short video below.  Now that she can be in a different position, she quickly rolls onto her stomach anytime you put her down.  She has also started sleeping on her left side.
